Every year Terrapin from Athens, GA and Left Hand from Longmont, CO put together a new and exciting collaboration called Midnight Project.  Well, 2009's Midnight Project was something special.  Terrapin's winter Monster Beer Tour offering is Wake and Bake, a mighty Coffee Oatmeal Imperial Stout.  My personal favorite Left Hand offering is their supremely sessionable Milk Stout.  For 2009 they conceptually blended the two to produce Depth Charge, an espresso milk stout. 

This beer is phenomenal.  Strong coffee flavors, super smooth, and delicious.  However, Midnight Project is always a one shot deal.  Brewed once, then gone forever.  I, and many that I've spoken with feel that Depth Charge should graduate to a regular offering, at least a winter seasonal.  Now, I know some difficulties lie in the fact that 2 breweries are involved in the beer.  Logistically this complicates things.  Depth Charge is worth it though.
